![]() ***Scratch this, I found it in an odd place* I can't find where "Produce a range" might be or how to accomplish this. I have tried the "Pack Project" but it just puts everything back the way it was (as best as I can tell). If you have other parts you want included, create a folder within the packed project folder and copy those extra assets. Pack Project Material only puts the items that are on the timeline in the Pack.Pack Project Materials can do that by packing each project as a separate project. You can create individual folders on your hard drive for each part, put all of the files for that section in one folder. You select the section you want with the orange range finder on the scubber, then Produce Range. You create separate projects from the Whole.I have dug through everything I can find in help and tutorials, but can't find a thing about separating a project and saving the unwelcome parts for reuse. There may be several options, depending on exactly how you want to save the individual events. I really don't want a single movie containing all these things in sequence, but I don't want to lose them. I have the first one in PD14 project, it is split up in clips, but I don't know how to save the individual clips as separate items. It's not a problem at all but I'm curious.Quote: I have a bunch (150 or so) two-hour videos that contain a series of events in unrelated but chronological order. So the ffdshow that's being used by PD9 from Sonne here, is that part available seperately and would PD9 play my. Soo, I'm not sure what's going on here but I'm happy enough for PD9 to use Sonne's resources. ![]() Soo, i reinstalled Sonne DVD Creator and now the avi's work perfectly along with the red ffdshow XVID libavcodec mpeg 4 icon in the system tray. avi files wouldn't work due to PD saying it was unsupported, broken or corrupt. I've never had a problem 'playing' any type of file on PD9 and have for some time thought that my PD9 uses the ffdshow codecs that were installed by my Sonne-DVD-Creator and thought nothing of it.īut tonight I was clearing out some programs and as I have never really used Sonne DVD Creator (free) I uninstalled it as I saw that the ffdshow part of the program was installed seperately in my add/remove programs.īut when I booted up PD9 and tried various music video files I found that my. ![]() I couple I like include:Ī final word of warning for the OCD types, as you chase every better and higher quality this rabit hole is very very deep indeed For may the STD M'Soft installed filters are fine but if you want broader or customisable playback support I'd suggest the following for a basic setup:ġ) Splitter : LAVSplitter (others options include Haali)Ģ) Decoders : FFSHOW is a good start for Audio and Video Decoders through there are many config options so a new user can get lostģ) Renderers: There are MS supplied Audio and Video renders on you Windows box already.įor those that have mastered the basics there any many many specific filters that you can try. More is not better, just more complicated to manage and trouble shoot. ![]() Try to keep the filters you install to a minimum for what your need. PD9 does not use any public DirectShow Filters, so any additional filters you install need to revolve around what your playback needs are and may be dependant on the media player that you use. I suggest caution with any filter (or codec) "pack" as these often introduce filters that conflict with each other.
